Very well known in the Southwest Palatinate. Ideal for hiking. Impressive natural spectacle with a great view and adjacent other rock formations.

There are several ways to come to Jungfernsprung. We walked in front of the road about 20 minutes comfortably up a steep path. About the pensioner way you can possibly go up a long staircase or from the other side with the circular path. The view shows the Vosges and the city of Dahn. It's OK but not more. I would not go up a second time. The rocks are very uneven and scuffed therefore very smooth. You should be good on foot and wear good shoes. When it rains or when it is very wet, I find it too dangerous.

Short high trail for everyone, lots of climbing and fast up.

A good ride but you're quickly 15mn max and beautiful view of the valley

Much of my family lives in Dahn and surrounding area. Got to visit when I was 12 and then when I was stationed in Aschaffenberg while serving in the Army. So many memories of climbing and hiking into the hills and exploring the old castles and sites. Such a beautiful area and people.
